25th anniversary special edition Foxbody Mustang

With the Carolina Ford Dealers network being the top sales region of the 5.0 Mustang LX models in North America, and to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Ford Mustang in 1989, Carolina Ford Dealers special ordered five hundred (500) white with red trim 5.0 liter Mustang LX models in hatchback, notchback and convertible. All 25th anniversary CFD-25 LX models will have a DSO# of 022 on the door tag.

All special edition CFD models were equipped with the 5.0 liter V8 engine, body styles were limited to LX models only, and all in Oxford white (code 9L) with scarlet red (D) interior and each CFD-25 model received unique special 25th anniversary edition decal package in red graphics on lower part of doors, red 25th anniversary floor mats, 25th anniversary key chain and commemorative window sheet...

Racing fans and NASCAR historians may remember the "Carolina Ford Dealers" sponsored Ford Thunderbirds of the era, driven by legendary racers Jeff Gordon and Mark Martin. Both racers were presented with CFD-25 LX models back in 1989. How would you like to get your hands on one of those, with their autograph on the dash!
